Description:
Moving Through The Maelstrom With Darryl Robert Schoon Only the lost will find the way It is my belief that a time of unprecedented crisis has begun. While the economic crisis has been the focus of my writings, it is only one of many crises that are about to occur—economic, political, ecological, and spiritual. This blog may be helpful to you during these times. If it is, you will know it. If it isn’t, you will know it too. |

My writings are about the economic collapse and its meaning. The collapse is part of a larger shift and it will be unlike anything humanity has ever seen. This means that the past will be of little or no value in these times.
In times of great change, the usual reaction is to hold on. In this shift, holding on will not work. Letting go will. This means trusting the shift, trusting the process. My advice is always "buy gold, buy silver, have faith." Faith is what allows trust. Without faith, there can be no trust. If you don't yet have faith, don't worry. If you want it, you can have it. Just ask. It's as simple as that, ask. Ask, then wait. It will come. Trust that it will. Have faith. Good luck, Darryl Robert Schoon www.survivethecrisis.com www.drschoon.com

Now that 2012 is here, we will finally get to deal with it. Not as some projected event, but as an actual occurrance. The Mayan Calender ends on December 21, 2012, but nothing is known about its significance.
What we do know is our world is changing in ways never expected. Our economic future is as uncertain as it is fraught with problems. Natural disasters are on the increase as is social unrest. My advice is to live each day fully and appreciate the life you've been given . It 's no accident we are here during a time of great change. To me, life is a miracle. I didn't always believe that but in these days that knowledge is priceless. The present age is ending. A new one will take it's place and whether it happens in 2012 is irrelevant. Buy gold, buy silver, have faith; and, of the three, faith is the most valuable. The first two can be bought. Faith must be earned. The rapidly escalating euro zone crisis is a sign the end of the bankers' debt-based paradigm is here. The bankers' 300 year old economic model built on credit and debt has reached its limit and its collapse is now in motion.
Living in such times is not easy. The old world is passing away and neither attachment nor nostalgia will prevent this change. That people are fearful is understandable but such fear will only make matters worse. Thirty years ago, in 1981, Buckminster Fuller predicted today's crisis. Fuller believed this crisis is universally intended to transform humanity and life on this planet for the better. I believe that too. I would encourage all to focus on the world they want, not the world that is passing away. If you want a better world, it is coming. That is cause for thanksgiving, even in these tulmutuous times. The die is cast. Ben Bernanke has announced that monetary stimulation will be again be implemented to restart the still-stalled US economy. This is akin to the continued use of steroids to cure a disease. Over time, the use of steroids will lead to ill effects and the excessive use of such will lead to even worse effects.
Further monetary stimulation will push the US economy in dangerous directions. QE1 didn't restart the economy. Neither did QE2 and neither will more credit and bond purchases. Doing so when demand is collapsing will not increase growth. What will happen is inflationary forces will be set in motion that cannot be controlled. Inflation is now being exported overseas by the Fed's low rates where it is raising the cost of goods to be sold back to the US. Thus, inflation will return to America in the form of higher costs for goods and for food and fuel as other countries will be competing for them also. Central bankers are playing with fire. Get ready. The house is about to burn done. Good luck, Darryl Robert Schoon www.survivethecrisis.com www.drschoon.com

It's been almost four years since the global economy began to falter; and while it impacted the lives of millions, this crisis is not about the economy.
The collapse of financial markets is only one of many problems we will be experiencing. They have only just begun. Humanity has difficulty is imagining a future unlike the past. This is human nature and is why humanity is always unprepared for cataclysmic shifts. Warnings are rarely heeded and consequently casualties are always high. Today is no different. I have been warning about this shift since I began commenting on economic issues. It has provided me with a powerful insight into how we react to our world. The reaction of others made me realize that choice is far more narrow than believed. We choose in accordance with what we have already chosen. What will unfold is part of that choice. On February 8th, the title of my blog was "Severe Earth Changes Coming". What was then predicted then happened. Since that day, a series of powerful earthquakes have transformed the lives of many.
My predictions about the economic collapse are part of a larger process where change is happening on a universal level. I expected the economic collapse just as I did severe earth changes. There are more to come. Circumstances have confirmed what I long believed, that a deep shift is taking place and humanity will be changed as a result; and it is best to be prepared for whatever may happen. In periods of change, we cling to the past. However, the way to more easily experience what is coming is to instead let go. The present world is changing. Let it go. A new and better world is going to take its place. Good luck, Darryl Robert Schoon www.survivethecrisis.com www.drschoon.com

The shift from the present era to the next will be marked not only by economic chaos but by severe earth changes. Edgar Cacye (1877-1945), the American psychic, predicted such changes and there has been recent confirmation about the possibility of one of his predictions.
Cayce predicted that the Great Lakes would empty into the Mississippi river. This recent article confirmed exactly that possibility, http://www.examiner.com/headlines-in-chicago/earthquake-along-new-madrid-fault-would-devastate-central-u-s-read-u-of-i-report#ixzz1C7Eawt5v Following is the University of Illinois report detailing the possibility of an earthquake on the New Madrid fault that could cause such a catastrophe, see http://mae.cee.illinois.edu/news/reportusa2.html. The US government is taking this report seriously. FEMA has issued requisition requests for emergency supplies, including body bags, to deal with an earthquake on the New Madrid fault, see https://www.fbo.gov/index?s=opportunity&mode=form&id=eaea338540a0aea155a48a650a077352&tab=core&_cview=0 https://www.fbo.gov/index?s=opportunity&mode=form&id=dbbf396ad98876328a0ba1485a842af1&tab=core&tabmode=list&= The shift from the present era to the next is not going to be easy. After the 2008 global collapse, China replaced the US as the engine of global growth. With unprecedented injections of money and loosening of credit, China made sure its economic ascent would continue. Now, the consequences are beginning to surface.
Its overheated property market remained immune to government efforts to contain it in 2010. Housing prices are still rising. The Chinese real estate bubble is even larger than the US bubble and its collapse will be even more destructive. China's inability to slow its real estate bubble will be repeated in its inability to control inflation. China's central government has grown overconfident in its ability to manage its economy. With inflation now growing far faster than it will admit, China will soon be humbled as prices move higher despite government measures. Loosening credit is easy. Containing the consequences is not. China has the longest history with inflation in the world and they are about to extend their record. Good luck, Darryl Robert Schoon www.survivethecrisis.com www.drschoon.com

I avoid political discussions for all the obvious reasons. There is one area, however, where I believe political activity should be encouraged. Specifically, ending the Fed.
This is the one area where I believe Americans must now find common ground. My current article, The Fed's Final Days, discusses the options in ending the Fed. If we allow events to take their course, the collapse of the monetary system could well bring about the end of the Federal Reserve but at an extremely high cost. It is far more preferable that the Fed be ended by the consensus of the American people and the cooperation of conservatives and liberals will be necessary to bring this about. The elites that control the US have inflamed the differences between the two political polarities almost beyond meaningful dialogue. Divide and conquer has been the modus operandi of the powerful since time immemorial and today is no different. Unless Americans can bridge their differences to bring about needed change, change will happen in a most destructive way. The pieces may well be impossible to put back together. Think about it. As the economic crisis continues, for increasing numbers the Thanksgiving Holidays are no longer considered a time for giving thanks.
This is a mistake. It is when times are the most difficult that the power of prayer and gratitude are both necessary and transformative. It is easy to give thanks when one's cup "runneth over". It is not so easy when one's cup appears almost empty. I have had a rather varied life and when life has been the most difficult, it was then I discovered that I had to ask for help, i.e. prayer, know that it was coming, i.e. faith, and feel gratitude for what I could not yet see. I say these words from experience. I have always considered myself fortunate, even in adversity; and, it was in times of adversity that it was most necessary to remember t0 give thanks. It's amazing what happened. We are not alone. Ask and you shall receive. I did. You will too. May peace be in your house and may love fill your days.
