Faith Fear & The FuturePosted by Darryl Schoon in Untagged |
These are perilous times. I know many are hoping the elections will solve our problems. They won’t. The dynamics of power run far deeper than the issues being debated.
Hope is often little more than denied fear with a smile pasted over it. It is especially true at this time. It is also understandable. Without faith, hope is the next best thing.
I have come to some peace about all this. I believe that what we are about to experience is unprecedented. It will be a period that will try our souls. But some will find what they have been looking for.
The answers to our problems do not lie the promises of politicians. If they did, our problems would have been solved long ago. If you want answers, you must look elsewhere, not to others, but inside yourself.
